Assault Turrets are enemies in The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning that fire projectiles at Spyro through use of elemental cannons. In each world Spyro visits, Assault Turrets are different from one another in name and use of ammo.
- In Dante's Freezer, the Assault Turrets fire streams of ice.
- In Tall Plains, they are called Earth Cannons and fire spikes.
- In Munitions Forge, they are called Fire Cannons and releease streams of lava at Spyro
- At Concurrent Skies, the turrets are called Electric Cannons and fire currents of electricity.
