Blue Monkeys are enemies found in Spyro: A Hero's Tail in the Dragonfly Falls realm secret area. These striped monkeys throw coconuts at anyone who gets near them, and usually position themselves far from their targets or high up in plataforms. In Spyro: Shadow Legacy, Blue Monkeys can only be defeated by burning them ash-black with flame and then charging or using chi moves.

- Though the Blue Monkeys made their first appearance in A Hero's Tail, they only appear in Dragonfly Falls' area blocked by a Light Gem gate; while they are much easier to find in Shadow Legacy.
- In A Hero's Tail, they will spin around and taunt Spyro if they land a projectile on him.
