The Electric King is the penultimate boss in The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning. He is confronted by Spyro before entering Cynder's tower at Concurrent Skies, mostly likely the guardian. His abilities include launching powerful lightning bolts, stomping and summoning pink electrical crystals. The Electric King can also project a force field around his body like the Ice King does, and create a club or an axe to attack up close.

- The Electric King is similar to the Ice King but is composed of an electric element instead.
- While in concept art the Electric King has no cape, in the final game he has a purple cape, recolored from the Ice King's own red cape.
- If not approached after his stomping attack, Electric King will repeatedly taunt Spyro with his weapon.
- The Electric King Electricity) is the last elemental boss in A New Beginning, as the others were the Ice King (Ice), Stone Sentinel (Earth), and Steam (Fire).
