Dragon Shores is the main homeworld in Spyro: Attack of the Rhynocs. Unlike its original counterpart, Dragon Shores is shown to be geographically connected to several other realms not inhabited by Dragons.
Spyro and Sparx the Dragonfly were teleported to the Dragon Shores by Ripto at the start of the game. This portion of Dragon Shores is a beach area connected to several other realms. The Dragons here give Spyro quests to locate missing dragon hatchlings and give them action figures to amuse them in exchange for the Heart of Dragon Shores. From the Dragonfly Oasis, it contains a Sgt. Byrd Recuse Mission.
Description[]
The homeworld mainly consist of beach area which connects to many other realms within the game. However, the apperance changes depending on which region that you visit. For instance, the Dragon Nest Region is mostly consists of green foliage and stone murals which has a coast area that can lead into the Virtual Playground, Banana Savannah, Fairy Library and Professor's Secret Lab. The Stormy Passage mostly is raining throughout the section and can be used to access the Thieves' Guild Secret Cave upon defeating the Butler for the second time. The Dragon Coast Region which mostly has pink foliage and a beachside. This area can be used to access Rabbit Habitat and has a boat which leads into the Icy Region, in which you can visit Byrd Barracks and Yeti Serengeti. The final region of Dragon Shores, Dragonfly Oasis can lead into following realms: Kangaroo Hoodoos, Moneybags' Mansion and Cheetah Spot Spa.
