Goons, also known as Common Gnorcs are small, green, weak Gnorcs--one of the many types of Gnorcs duplicated and transformed from gems. They commonly wear army helmets which shows that they work for Gnasty. They are the most appearing form of Gnorc even though sometimes they are a little altered so they can fight.
Goons first appeared in the Artisans homeworld during the time of Spyro the Dragon. They are very weak and do not fight back; they only cower and make minor attempts to run away when Spyro approaches them. Spyro is much faster than Goons and doesn't have a problem catching them. A variety of Goons exists known as Shielded Gnorcs, who actually fight back. Some of them have learned different technology and are more confident about fighting.
