Goons, also known as Common Gnorcs are small, green, weak Gnorcs--one of the many types of Gnorcs duplicated and transformed from gems. They commonly wear army helmets which shows that they work for Gnasty. They are the most appearing form of Gnorc even though sometimes they are a little altered so that they can fight against Spyro.

Goons first appeared in the Artisans homeworld during the time of Spyro the Dragon. They are very weak and do not actually fight back; they only cower and make minor attempts to run away and hide when Spyro approaches them. Spyro is much faster than Goons and doesn't have a problem catching them. A variety of Goons exist such as Soldiers, who actually fight back against the young dragon. Some of them have learned different technology and are more confident about fighting.

Strategy

The Goons will always scream and run away if you approach them, in which they will eventually find a place to hide and cower from you. They are very easy to catch so just charge or flame them to defeat them easily and collect their treasure.
