Growths are swamp monsters that dwell within the Swamp in The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning. They attack by either swinging their clubs on Spyro if he is close, slam him to the ground or throwing slime on him to temporarily slow him down if he's far away.
They appear again in The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night, encountered in the Ancient Grove; their blue and purple variation matching the Grove environment.
