Meadow was of the warriors of Avalar Valley and also taken by Grublins. He required Cynder and Spyro a task so he could get back home because his leg was broken and prove to Proul that Spyro and Cynder are harmless. It is possible Meadow is actually a healer as a warrior mentioned he'd disappeared after he went to gather herbs.
