Middle Gnorcs are blue gnorcs in Spyro: A Hero's Tail that wield metal shields and a sword (although not all of them will have shields). Depending on the type of Middle Gnorc, they need to be charged in order to disarm their shields and be finished with flame breath. They appear very minorly in the first few levels such as Dragon Village and Coastal Remains, though are extremely frequent enemies in Ice Citadel and Molten Mount onward.
In Red's Laboratory and Dark Mine, Middle Gnorcs are being converted into Middle Robognorcs.
