Mosquitoes[1] are insectoid enemies that are found in the Spooky Swamp, a realm in Spyro: Year of the Dragon. When they attack Spyro, they attack with their stinger.

- When they are defeated, they make a sound similar to the small Carrot-Topped Monks from Spyro the Dragon.
- There is a game-breaking glitch in the original game where if you kill the third Mosquito and its gem falls into the water, it becomes unobtainable.
