Mountain Goats are friendly yet mischievous goats that appeared in Sheila's Alp, a realm in Spyro: Year of the Dragon and Spyro Reignited Trilogy remaster of the third game. They are good friends with Sheila the Kangaroo.
Characters[]
- Billy
- Pete
- Bobby
Guide[]
There are three known Mountain Goats; Billy, Bobby and Pete. Each one has an egg. To get the eggs, clear a path for the trio into the level. Billy will return home first, and will give Sheila an egg (Ruby). In a nearby cave, there are two Rhynocs and a Moose in the way; kill them, and Pete will be standing in front of his house. Smash the boulder in front of the door, and he will give you another egg (Jenny). There are a lot of Rhynocs around the area outside the cave, but if you mannage to kill them all, the last Mountain Goat, Bobby, will be returned home, and will give the player the final egg of the realm (Nan).
Story[]
After the Sorceress was defeated, Billy was found with his head stuck in a wall. Sheila tried to ask how it happened, while another goat (apparently Bobby) claimed it was Billy's idea. Billy tried to shout out the truth (though nobody could understand what he was saying), but Sheila told him to hold to that thought while she talked with Spyro, who was looking for Hunter.

Trivia[]
- There is an egg named Pete that can be found by Sheila in another realm. This may have been a reference to Pete, one of the Mountain Goats she is friends with.
- In the Reignited Trilogy, the Mountain Goats have unique designs. Billy has ram-shaped horns, blue eyes, and a red vest, no tuft of hair on the top of his head, his beard is tied with a band, and cleanly cut. Pete has upwards pointing horns, light brown eyes, a blue vest, a yellow tuft of hair on his head, and has the widest beard. Bobby's horns go sideways, his eyes are green, and his vest is green, has a white tuft of hair on his head, and his beard is a sickle-shaped tuft; he also has a ring on his right ear.
- During their idle animation, they pull on their beards.
