The Shadow Strike Glitch is a glitch in The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon that allows Cynder to bypass cutscenes and loading triggers. By activating her primary Shadow attack, Shadow Strike, and moving through a loading zone, she can reappear on the other side without triggering the load.

Applications[]

Using this glitch often results in a dead end, or even a softlock in certain situations. However, there are also a few places where the glitch can be useful.

Dragon City[]

  • Can be used while going up the stairs to the ramparts to prevent the cannon event from starting (though you would have to use a different glitch to progress).
  • Can be used at the entrance to the gates to prevent the troll from fighting, allowing you to close the gates without interruption.
