i just discovered this article is the same as Puffer Platypus should one be deleted?

It says that most Spyro fauna is a mixture of animals, as if the puffing platypuses aren't, but they are. Just because they aren't noticably blowfish when they're deflated doesn't mean that they aren't still mixtures. Also, styreotypical platypuses doesn't really make sense. They can look like "normal" platypuses, but the word "styreotype" doesn't really fit the situation.

There is another way to defeat them, if you have the infinite fireball power from reaching 100%
