Young Earth Shapers appear in Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! in Magma Cone. They are smaller versions of the normal Earthshapers and wear blue pants. They can only be charged and will run away from Spyro if he doesn't hit them. When Spyro is at a distance, the Young Earth Shapers will make hand motions, urging him to come closer. They can throw rocks and hurt Spyro as an attack. After they hurl a rock, hit or miss, they will run to the other side of a building or large object and attempt the same attack.
